Chicago is one of my favorite US cities. The history, the vibrancy, the hot dogs… I love it all.

This visit was particularly foggy. I loved the fog. My hair did not.

Erin was calm and collected before she walked down the aisle to marry Nic. Compared to two weeks prior, this rainy day was heaven. You see, Erin is a teacher at Henryville High School. So two weeks prior to her wedding, Erin was surviving this.

Nic is a musician, surrounded by musicians, and (apparently) comes from a musician. I’ve never photographed so many artists take the stage during a wedding reception. But weddings are about the celebration of love, and that’s exactly what went down that night.

My original intention for the album I am showing here was to use the album’s 100 pages to feature three weddings to show my clients. You know, get as much “value” as I could with one album. As I started gathering images from the first wedding I was going to feature, Whitney & Rick’s, I realized that there was no way my plan would succeed.

You see, I love Couture Book for many reasons, but one is that their albums allow me to truly tell a story the way it was meant to be told.

You see your wedding day develop again.
